texturising

:is the most commonly used processing route for synthetic yarns.
In this process the filaments that make up a yarn are crimped in a way that gives
the yarn an increased volume and elasticity much as when you crimp your hair to give it curls.

Yarns made by ContiFibre are known as “false twist” (FT) or “false twist fixed” (FTF) yarns due to the crimp formation being the result of a twisting then un-twisting process at high speed.

On the most modern machines in ContiFibre the twisting tension of every threadline position is computer monitored on a continuous basis to guarantee the highest quality standards for critical applications.
